Scene Study
JD Glickman
A four-week, technique-driven scene study rooted in the systems of Michael Chekhov, Uta Hagen, and Stella Adler. Daily, on-your-feet work on scenes from modern plays with structured instructor guidance. Designed for actors committed to serious scene work, technical clarity, and disciplined craft.
This four-week Scene Study Class is built on the core acting systems taught at Actors Studio Stockholm and Conservatory NYC, integrating the techniques of Michael Chekhov, Uta Hagen, and Stella Adler into daily, structured work on scenes from modern plays.
Actors rehearse and perform in class every day, developing scenes through text analysis, psychophysical action, and relational work. By week three, the instructor actively directs and shapes the work toward clear, playable scenic choices, emphasizing professional rehearsal standards and a repeatable acting process.
