Teachers

Testimonials

There are few people who show the level of dedication to their students that Alexander and Lotta do. They have taught me everything I know and have become two of my greatest sources of support when it comes to filmmaking. Even now, after their time as my teachers, I can still reach out to them with questions and thoughts about anything. They are incredibly supportive, present, pedagogical, and knowledgeable when it comes to filmmaking and teaching. I will always be very grateful that I had those two as my teachers.

Alexander Moberg and Lotta Tengroth teach you everything you need to know as a curious film student. Their kindness and experience shine through in everything you do. The practical exercises help you understand what to think about when working on set—that every role is important, and that staying true to your own role may be even more important. Their collaboration as cinematographer/director is also a brilliant example of why their pedagogy works so well. They complement each other beautifully with different perspectives on what to consider and what to focus on, in a way that feels very individual and personal. They genuinely care about you and truly listen to what you have to say as a student, which is truly admirable. I am extremely grateful for the years with them, for their encouragement, and for everything I learned from them.
